Verrado got themselves on the board against Cortez on Friday, but Cortez never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Colts with a sharp 20-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Vipers, who have now won 13 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Maddie Allen made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
