Basketball Recap: Stockton Blackhawks vs. Warren Warriors
Stockton lost against Warren back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Stockton Blackhawks took a 55-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 644th, while the Warriors are ranked 261st).
Treyton Pafford continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Warren, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 12 boards. Pafford's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Beau Podnar, who posted ten points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.
Stockton has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Warren, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
