Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southridge). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the North Salem Vikings a 17-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Skyhawks as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Southridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-14. As for North Salem, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southridge will face off against Sprague at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Olympians will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Skyhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Salem, they will be playing at home against Newberg on Tuesday.
