Volleyball Recap: Twelve Bridges Takes a Loss

If Twelve Bridges was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Yuba City last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raging Rhinos fell 3-1 to the Nevada Union Miners on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Miners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-11, 24-26, 25-18.

AJ Jennings was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had 23 assists and two aces. Those 23 assists gave him a new career-high.

Twelve Bridges' loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Nevada Union, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-6.

Twelve Bridges wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Placer on the 10th. As for Nevada Union, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Roseville on the 10th.
