Union has gone a perfect 10-0 against Battle Ground recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Titans will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Union has four straight wins, Battle Ground has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Union proved they can win big on Friday (they won by nine) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Camas 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Union were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Battle Ground didn't have quite enough to beat Skyview on Wednesday and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, Battle Ground can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while Skyview are ranked 77th).

Union pushed their record up to 10-3-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those six contests. As for Battle Ground, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Everything went Union's way against Battle Ground in their previous meeting last Wednesday, as Union made off with a 4-1 victory. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
