The Arizona College Prep Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Centennial Coyotes at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Arizona College Prep is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 17 games.
Arizona College Prep's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Paradise Valley with a sharp 18-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won 15 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Ava Moynihan looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Rachel Cain was incredible, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Taylor Estrella, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4.
Arizona College Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Centennial unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chaparral.
Centennial saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emery Wilton, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Arizona College Prep's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7-1.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Arizona College Prep hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .423. However, it's not like Centennial struggles in that department as they've averaged .429. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
