Layla Laudick was dynamite on Tuesday, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her sixth in a row with five or more strikeouts. On the season, she has an ERA of 7.24 over 96.2 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Laudick and Lloyd Memorial will face off against Scott at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Laudick had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game back in April 15-6. If she drops another game like that, the outcome could be different this time around.
