Softball Recap: Tucker County Comes Up Short

Tucker County came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-1 to the Pendleton County Wildcat. The loss continues a trend for the Mountain Lions in their meetings with the Wildcat: they've now lost nine in a row.

Tucker County now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Pendleton County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcat beat Tucker County by a score of 13-0 later that day.
