It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Apex had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They breezed past the Felton Grove Galaxy to the tune of 34-0. Considering the Cougars have won seven contests by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Apex had a senior duo take command as Coco Lavielle gained 44 total yards and two touchdowns and Sarah Fagerstrom picked up 41 receiving yards and two scores.

Apex didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Clare O'Connell led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

Apex pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average over those games. As for Felton Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-15.

Apex didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-12 victory against Franklinton on the 13th. Felton Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
