Soccer Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Northwest was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They fell just short of the Birdville Hawks by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Texans in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now lost six in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Northwest fell to 2-1. As for Birdville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest will square off against Lewisville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Birdville, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Guyer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Birdville's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
