Soccer Recap: Berkeley Comes Up Short on the Road Against Vintage

Berkeley kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Vintage Crushers by a score of 3-2. Berkeley were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Vintage apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Jasper Kirsch and Mateo Luckey scored both of Berkeley's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Vintage's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Berkeley didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Oak Ridge on the 5th. As for Vintage, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Roseland University Prep on the 8th.
