Football Game Preview: Hoover Vikings vs. McKinley Bulldogs

Hoover is 1-9 against McKinley since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Vikings will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hoover comes in on six and McKinley on four.

On Friday, Hoover beat GlenOak 28-21. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 51st, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 280th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. McKinley strolled past Green with points to spare, taking the game 21-3.

McKinley's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Hoover, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
