Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Macon-East Montgomery Academy). They blew past the Southern Prep Academy Fighting Rangers 76-27 on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Macon-East Montgomery Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jackson Todd led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds gave Todd a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Andrews, who went 9 of 12 on his way to 21 points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Macon-East Montgomery Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Macon-East Montgomery Academy's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Southern Prep Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Macon-East Montgomery Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Springwood at 8:00 p.m. As for Southern Prep Academy, they will head out to challenge Lakeside School at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
