Recap: Arcadia Apaches vs. Summit SkyHawks

With a playoff game on the line, the Arcadia Apaches rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the SkyHawks by a score of 69-56. Given Arcadia's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 165th, while Summit is ranked 331st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Arcadia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordan Dollar, who scored 20 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Noa Eteuati-Edwards, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.

Arcadia is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. As for Summit, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-13.

Arcadia will square off against Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Troy is coming into the matchup with three straight wins on the road, meaning Arcadia will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
