Basketball Recap: Lehigh Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Lehigh entered their matchup against Miramar on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lehigh Lightning took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miramar Patriots. The game marked the Lightning's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Miramar's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Siah Blot, who went 9 for 15 on his way to 22 points and six rebounds. Joshua Skinner was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Lehigh's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-1. As for Miramar, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.

Lehigh will challenge Golden Gate at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Miramar, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-54 victory against Somerset Academy on the 7th.
