Softball Game Preview: Estrella Foothills Wolves vs. Peoria Panthers

Estrella Foothills is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Peoria a 15-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Estrella Foothills Wolves will square off against the Peoria Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Estrella Foothills is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came up short against ALA - Queen Creek on Monday, falling 21-10. Even if the Wolves couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Annasi Dilley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Jaedene Cruz was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Peoria lost 15-1 to Browne on Monday.

Peoria saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoe Williams, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Peoria's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Estrella Foothills, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
