Fitch and Stonington are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Falcons will welcome the Bears at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

Fitch is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Stonington.

For Stonington's part, Sean Durham made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Durham was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

In other batting news, Cam Ogden was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. Jacob Schrage was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Fitch couldn't quite get it done against Stonington when the teams last played on Tuesday as they fell 8-4. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
