Basketball Recap: Palestine Comes Up Short

Palestine and Little Cypress-Mauriceville squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Palestine had to settle for second. They fell 59-47 to the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears.

Palestine's defeat dropped their record down to 14-19. As for Little Cypress-Mauriceville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 28-8 record this season.

Palestine does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Little Cypress-Mauriceville, they will take on Hargrave on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hargrave comes in on three and Little Cypress-Mauriceville on six.
