Recap: King's Christian Academy Lions vs. Timberlake Christian Tornadoes
This season hasn't been kind to the King's Christian Academy Lions, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They took a hard 42-24 fall against Timberlake Christian on Tuesday. King's Christian Academy has not had much luck with Timberlake Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Timberlake Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sawyer Epps out in front who scored 15 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Epps has scored at least 25% of Timberlake Christian's points. Woo Kang was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
King's Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Timberlake Christian, their win bumped their record up to 1-4.
King's Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Westover Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Timberlake Christian, they will be playing at home against Temple Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
