Bishop Kenny had won three straight games and Alexis Sowers did her part to make it four on Friday. The Crusaders came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Strawberry Crest Chargers thanks in part to Sowers, who had six digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Bishop Kenny's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Strawberry Crest, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-2.

Bishop Kenny wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against True North Classical Academy on the 29th. As for Strawberry Crest, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against La Cueva on the 29th.
