Bishop Kenny had won three straight games and Alexis Sowers did her part to make it four on Friday. The Crusaders came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Strawberry Crest Chargers with plenty of help from Sowers, who had 17 digs and six aces. She has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Despite the loss, Strawberry Crest still got an impressive performance from Zoe Bullock, who had nine digs and three aces.

Bishop Kenny's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Strawberry Crest, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Bishop Kenny wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against True North Classical Academy on the 29th. As for Strawberry Crest, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against La Cueva on the 29th.
