Basketball Recap: Westminster Christian Comes Up Short

Westminster Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 71-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hiawatha Hawks. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 52-48 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Westminster Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Hiawatha, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westminster Christian will challenge Aurora Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hiawatha, they will face off against Earlville at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
