Softball Game Preview: Morgan Huskies vs. Hale Ray Noises

Morgan hasn't had much luck against Hale Ray recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Huskies will head out to face off against the Noises at 4:00 p.m. Morgan has given up an average of 20.6 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Morgan is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They came up short against East Hampton, falling 21-3.

Hale Ray played against Westbrook on Friday and won via forfeit.

Hale Ray pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 6.6 runs thus far. As for Morgan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Morgan might still be hurting after the 12-0 loss they got from Hale Ray in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Huskies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
