Softball Recap: Denison-Schleswig Takes a Loss

Denison-Schleswig was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-4 to the Clarinda Cardinals. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Monarchs have suffered against the Cardinals since June 12, 2023.

Denison-Schleswig's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Clarinda, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Clarinda beat Denison-Schleswig by a score of 11-10 later that day.
