Soccer Recap: Brockton Falls to Rockland in First Game of Season

Brockton had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Rockland Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The matchup was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Brockton couldn't quite close it out.

Rockland has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brockton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Barnstable at 6:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Rockland, they will take on Hanover at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
