Soccer Recap: Granite Falls Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Granite Falls and Bear Creek, and Bear Creek kept the tradition alive. The Tigers came up short against the Grizzlies on Thursday, falling 4-0. Granite Falls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bear Creek apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Granite Falls has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 0-5-2 record this season. Bear Creek's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4-1.

Coincidentally, Granite Falls and Bear Creek will both be playing South Whidbey the next time they take the pitch. The Tigers will host the Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Grizzlies will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
