Soccer Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Lakeshore Lancers, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 248th, while Lakeshore are ranked 98th).

Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for Lakeshore, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Central will challenge Norrix at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeshore, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Lakeview at 6:30 p.m.
