Roma waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cigarroa Toros a 10-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Gladiators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mario Barrera tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Roma now has a winning record of 8-7-2. As for Cigarroa, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Roma will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Toros: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
