Baseball Recap: Desert Hot Springs Takes a Loss

After flying high against Desert Christian Academy last Friday, Desert Hot Springs came back down to earth. The Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Twentynine Palms Wildcats on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Eagles of the 8-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Desert Hot Springs now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Twentynine Palms, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

Looking ahead, Desert Hot Springs will venture away from home to take on Perris at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Twentynine Palms, they will host Desert Christian Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
