St. John won the last time they faced LaCrosse and Emmett Delp did his part to make sure it happened again. The Tigers took down the Leopards 66-52 on Thursday for which the team can thank Delp, who posted 32 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

The victory made it two in a row for St. John and bumps their season record up to 15-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for LaCrosse, they moved to 12-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

St. John and LaCrosse should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 114th) will meet Ness City (ranked 267th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, LaCrosse will square off against Chase at 7:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (166 vs. 352).
