Softball Game Preview: Laurel Gators vs. Brush Arcs

The Laurel Gators will square off against the Brush Arcs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Laurel came up short against Beaumont School on Saturday, falling 17-6. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taryn Goedecke was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ellie Greenwalt, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Brush couldn't beat Westlake on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Arcs lost 18-7 to the Demons.

Brush's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Laurel, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
