Baseball Game Preview: Granada Hills Charter Highlanders vs. Palisades Dolphins

The Granada Hills Charter Highlanders will square off against the Palisades Dolphins at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The last four games Granada Hills Charter has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, it was close, but Granada Hills Charter sidestepped West Ranch for a 3-2 win.

Meanwhile, Palisades unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Verdugo Hills by a score of 1-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Dolphins were not able to get on the board.

Granada Hills Charter's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-13. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.67 runs across that stretch. As for Palisades, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Granada Hills Charter took their win against Palisades in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1 score. Will the Highlanders repeat their success, or do the Dolphins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
