It was a good run, but Waggener unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 19-0 to the Atherton Ravens. The Wildcats were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the four games prior), but the Ravens' pitchers proved too tough.

Waggener suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 11-2. As for Atherton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waggener will face off against Fort Knox at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Atherton, they will take on Pleasure Ridge Park at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
