Volleyball Recap: St. Edmund Takes a Loss

St. Edmund was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Marksville Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on September 6th.

St. Edmund's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Marksville, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

St. Edmund didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Port Barre on the 27th. As for Marksville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Carencro on the 27th.
