Basketball Game Preview: Paradise Bobcats vs. Hayfork Timberjacks

The Paradise Bobcats will take on the Hayfork Timberjacks in a holiday battle at at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Paradise is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 63-19 victory over CORE Butte. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bobcats with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Hayfork was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Dunsmuir 82-9. The Timberjacks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 27 points or more this season.

Hayfork pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.8 points. As for Paradise, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Everything went Paradise's way against Hayfork when the teams last played back in December of 2016, as Paradise made off with a 77-52 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Hayfork's Jacob Halderman, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and ten boards.
