Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons Takes a Loss

Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Warrensburg Burgers, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Burgers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Monday.

Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Warrensburg, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons will square off against Hadley Luzerne at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Golden Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Warrensburg, they will host Fort Ann at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
