It was a proper cat-fight when Rosebud-Lott challenged Moody on Friday. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 32-8 margin over the Bearcats. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 24 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rosebud-Lott to victory, but perhaps none more so than Pryce Rabroker, who threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 60 yards and one score. That's the most passing yards Rabroker has posted since back in September of 2024. A healthy portion of Rabroker's aerial production (142 yards to be exact) went to Kaiden Johnson, who also brought in two receiving touchdowns.

Rosebud-Lott didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Moody to a completion percentage of just 40%. The team can thank Waylon Thigpen for the heroic effort on defense: he. Sadly, that's becoming something of a trend for Rosebud-Lott; they were averaging 58.3%completion percentage earlier this season, but in their last three matchups they've fallen to only 58.3%.

The victory was the third in a row for Rosebud-Lott, bringing their record up to 6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.7 points on average over those games. As for Moody, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Rosebud-Lott didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-0 victory against Bruceville-Eddy on the 23rd. As for Moody, they have also already played their next game, a 24-6 loss against Crawford on the 24th.
