Baseball Recap: Falkville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Columbia last Tuesday, Falkville came back down to earth. The Falkville Blue Devils came up short against the West End Patriots on Saturday, falling 16-6.

Bryant Owens was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Falkville's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for West End, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Falkville will welcome Susan Moore at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West End, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hokes Bluff at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
