Volleyball Game Preview: Bowie Bulldogs vs. Vista Ridge Rangers

Bowie hasn't had much luck against Vista Ridge recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m.

Bowie is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Texas' top teams: Round Rock, who was ranked ninth at the time (Bowie was ranked eighth). Bowie fell 3-1 to Round Rock on Wednesday. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Bowie started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 27-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Vista Ridge came tearing into Wednesday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Grizzlies as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-16.

Vista Ridge's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Bowie, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
