Basketball Game Preview: Wooster Colts vs. North Valleys Panthers

Wooster and North Valleys are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Wooster Colts will be playing at home against the North Valleys Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Wooster's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

Wooster took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They secured a 66-61 W over South Tahoe.

Meanwhile, North Valleys didn't have too much trouble with Truckee on Wednesday as they won 54-40. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Wooster has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points per game. As for North Valleys, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Wooster didn't have too much breathing room in their game against North Valleys when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 61-56 victory. Will Wooster repeat their success, or does North Valleys have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
