Baseball Recap: Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Central Catholic saw some tournament action on Thursday. They lost 12-4 to the Cabrillo Conquistadores. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by exactly eight runs.

Central Catholic saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Perino, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. Jacob Kiesel was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Cabrillo, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Central Catholic will take on Maranatha in a tournament on Friday. As for Cabrillo, they will be taking part in a tournament against Pioneer Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
