Volleyball Recap: Workman Comes Up Short

Workman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the El Rancho Dons.

While Workman was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into El Rancho's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 25-20.

Workman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for El Rancho, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Workman will square off against Garey at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for El Rancho, they will host San Gabriel at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
