Baseball Recap: Edgerton Crimson Tide vs. Jefferson Eagles

After flying high against Monroe last Friday, Edgerton came back down to earth. The Edgerton Crimson Tide fell just short of the Jefferson Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. Edgerton has not had much luck with Jefferson recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

For Jefferson's part, Aidan Kammer was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Edgerton fell to 2-1. As for Jefferson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Edgerton will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Evansville at 4:45 p.m. As for Jefferson, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-0 victory vs. East Troy on the 15th.
