Basketball Recap: Eagle Ridge Christian Takes a Loss

Eagle Ridge Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 68-67 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Pemiscot Mustangs. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Eagle Ridge Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Eagle Ridge Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Gideon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Pemiscot, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Marquand-Zion at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
