Millennium had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victor by a 63-42 margin over the Campo Verde Coyotes on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Millennium got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dashia Richardson out in front who went 5-for-10 on her way to 19 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. Richardson is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games she's played. Destiny Lunan was another key player, going 6-for-14 to rack up 14 points along with seven assists and six boards.

Millennium smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. They are 18-2 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Millennium's win bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Campo Verde, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-7.

Millennium wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-45 victory against Xavier College Prep on the 27th. As for Campo Verde, they have also already played their next game, a 39-38 win against Arizona College Prep on the 27th.
