Basketball Recap: Sharon-Mutual Takes a Loss

Sharon-Mutual lost against Sweetwater back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sharon-Mutual Trojans took a 43-25 bruising from the Sweetwater Bulldogs. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Sharon-Mutual has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Sweetwater, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sharon-Mutual will take on Aline-Cleo at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aline-Cleo has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Sweetwater, they will venture away from home to face off against Blair at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
