Softball Recap: Cedar Park Christian Eagles vs. South Whidbey Falcons
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cedar Park Christian). They never let the South Whidbey Falcons get on the board and left with a 19-0 win on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three matchups.
Isabela Stewart made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.
In other pitching news, Gianna Charlton looked comfortable as she struck out seven batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
