Basketball Recap: Central Crossing Takes a Loss

Central Crossing played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Teays Valley Vikings and fell 62-17. The Comets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-8.

Tessa Horsley went supernova For Teays Valley., dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Areyana Karshner, who posted nine points and seven rebounds.

Central Crossing now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Teays Valley, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Crossing will take on Grove City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Comets their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Teays Valley, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lancaster at 7:30 p.m. on December 5.
