Football Recap: New Salem Takes a Loss

New Salem kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 42-18 to the Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

The victory got Hettinger/Scranton back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. New Salem will face off against rival Standing Rock on Friday. Meanwhile, Hettinger/Scranton is set to challenge their familiar foe Mott-Regent/New England on Friday.
