Softball Game Preview: Dieterich Movin Maroons vs. Altamont Indians

Dieterich is 2-8 against Altamont since May of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Movin Maroons will welcome the Indians at 4:30 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Dieterich came up short against Altamont and fell 4-1. The Movin Maroons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Altamont's part, Grace Lemke spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 11 Ks. Lemke has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

Altamont is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-8. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for Dieterich, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
